hoponopono is a meditation technique to chant sorry, forgive and nowadays is used by many healers.
Earlier this meditation was guided by a monk to some prisoners to made them feel guity and ask forgiveness to the god for there sin.

ji and sir personally i dont feel in normal life we should practice forgiveness and feel guilty so often and it leads to loose self respect, even it attracts more of the guilt and events to say sorry.
we people felt many times emotions ego and dishearten of self and other poeople, loved ones, close friends, ups and down and this is what life is all about.
LET GO is always better to deal with emotions, also EFT is wonderful technique discovered by medical science.
