Navratri begins today.

Navratri is an Indian festival, worshiping NavaDurga, that is nine forms of Goddess Durga.

The celebrations for Goddess Durga's victory over Demon Mahishasura begins today.

First 3 days of Navratri is worshiping the power and energy of Maa Durga.

:heart: MAA DURGA is worshipped in her 1st form today as MAA SHAILPUTRI, symbolising unlimited power that fulfills impossible feats.

MAA Shailputri, is the daughter of King of mountains, the Himalaya.

Maa Shailputri in this form has a half moon on her forehead, trident in right hand and a lotus in left hand.

:heart: Maa Shailputri, is also Goddess of Muladhara/ Root Chakra , her divine energy takes towards spiritual enlightenment.

SHAILPUTRI MANTRA is a mantra praising her form and seeking her blessings.

Chanting of SHAILPUTRI MANTRA gives peace of mind and keeps away all evils of life. It also helps to manifest good health and prosperity.

Those who wish to chant this Mantra…this is the mantra

"Vande Vanchhit Laabhaay Chandrardhkritshekhram ।

Golden Sunrise Rakhij Just to clear my doubt

I learnt this mantra from a Guru and to focus on Muladhara cakra

Om sham shim shum shailaputr.yai me

shubham kurU kurU kurU svAhA

I Chanted this 108 times today with flowers on the mahameru and really felt blissful.can this mantra also be used?
