A family friend has been diagnosed with cancer in the food pipe. The tumor is increasing and heart is working only 20-25%.

There is a pipe which has been inserted into the abdomen to bypass the food pipe.

Any suggestions which can be done for him.

He is given water, 2 spoons at a time but apparently there is a lot of pain when the water is given.

Was not very sure as this is in the food pipe.
