Problem in laptop

GOLDEN SUNRISE ! I purchased online a laptop but problem started within few minutes . Shown to company engineer but nothing happened. Then requested to online shopping company for replacement as there was no option for return & refund. They will send their technician to check. All this will take time. No guarantee that replaced item will be ok this time. Please help how to request VK to solve this problem as soon as possible. Thank you.

  • Thank you Rakhi & Anit. While doing initial steps of filling region, language the laptop showed that there was some error & needed to restart. Then while doing updating same thing happened many times. Next day also. Error & restart and nothing else. Called laptop company. Reset it as directed but problem not solved. Next day they sent their engineer. He updated the software with usb. Problem remained. Reset. No change.

  • Selling company has return policy. It replaces the product if requested within 10 days of purchase.

  • It seems hardware fault may be related to Hard disk drive. So replace immediately.

    You can also post a negative feedback comment on the shopping website from where you got the laptop purchased. Describe the whole scene in strong words.

    You get a perfect replacement with ease.

    I have done this earlier for some online purchases where products were faulty. And i got some complimentary gift along with replacement. Its even their reputation at stake.
  • They checked for hardware defect but found no fault. Told that there may be software problem due the extra softwares installed which would be solved after updating & removing those.

  • Before purchasing this laptop, I had paid to another site for laptop. Sent SO7R to the laptop but after few days I was told that this model was not available there.

  • If there is no hardware fault, then technician must had restore it to factory mode. But the technician also failed to solve as you had mentioned. So don't delay, claim for replace or refund whatever suits.

  • Thank you @Anit Nayak. Yes. Already claimed for replacement. I complained laptop company & the person sent couldn't solve the problem. After that I requested the selling company for replacement . Now they'll send their own technician to check.

    Also go to the product link on the site where you chose, post a complain there about the faulty product delivery.

    Being aggressive can be your action point.

  • Yesterday I came to know that technician visit cancelled & replacement rejected by the company on 24/05/2018. Please please help.
