my pet dog(female) has a swelling & pain in her mammary glands.
My pet Jiffy has this problem every time after her menstrual cycle. She gets a false pregnancy I suppose as her doctor once said. So her mammary glands get swelled up n she has a severe pain. To relax herself, she tries to rub her glands with some soft thing that can be my sofa edge, any person's leg etc. She keeps licking also to indicate her pain to us. Pls suggest some remedy along with any medicine.
