VK Tip 129 : Lord Krishna's blessings with mantras to rejoice in self, divinity with Sri Krishna

Jai Shri Krishna Golden Sunrise to all Divine Souls

Shri Krishna Jamnastami is celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion by all Lord Krishna devotees on Ashtami of Krishna Paksh or the 8th day of dark fortnight in month of Hindu calendar, Bhadrapada. It marks the birth of Sri Krishna, the 8th Avatar or Incarnation of Lord Vishnu.

He was born as 8th child, DEVAKINANDAN, to Vasudeo and Devaki at Mathura and was raised by Nandlal and Yashoda Maiya as her beloved KANHA in Gokul. The name Krishna means in Sanskrit dark or black and THE ALL ATTRACTIVE ONE.

Krishna is often depicted wearing a silk golden yellow dhoti, and a peacock feather crown, in tribhanga position playing flute.

<3 Lord Krishna as a deity attracts devotees in his many forms. He is the beloved MAKHANCHOR (who takes away butter) is loving, charming attracts through his mischievous pranks. He is also BALAGOPAL, the protector of cows. He is GOVIND who pleases the cows playing his flute.

He does RASALILA (Dance of Divine Love) playing his flute, attracting all Gopis from Vrindavan. In RASALILA, every Gopi feels Krishna with him. With Krishna, is felt the true spiritual love at soul level.

<3 Lord Krishna along with his brother Balaram and his friend Sudama learned from Rishi Sandipani at his ashram near Ujjain. They mastered every lesson in one instruction from the Guru.

He lifted the Govardhan hill with his little finger to protect people in Gokul.

Krishna defines true love with Radha. They are one as RADHEKRISHNA.
He protects Draupadi as a brother. He is the friend of Sudama. He exhibits brotherly love with Lord Balaram.

<3 As a child, Lord Krishna killed demons, Putana, Trinavarta, Aghasura and Bakasura and many others as he grew, last sent by Kansa was Demon Keshi, who was killed when Krishna was in teenage.

He killed his Uncle Kansa, as predicted by Divine prophecy.

Lord Krishna heroically kidnapped Rukmini and eloped with her to prevent an unwanted marriage at her request and saved her from evil Shishupala. He then married her. Krishna killed the demon king, Narakasura. There were 16000 women slaves of this demon, whom Lord accepted them as his wife upon their insistence to save themselves from the society, the chief amongst them is Rohini.

<3 Lord Krishna leads Arjuna and guides him to be a warrior and fulfil his Dharma. Shrimad Bhagwat Gita describes teachings of Lord Krishna to do our good Karma(actions) without thinking of outcome with many other teachings.

Swami Vivekananda said “In the Gita, we hear the distant sound of the conflict of sects, and Lord Krishna comes in the middle to harmonize them all; he is the great teacher of harmony,”

Sri Krishna possesses elegance, charm, beauty, radiance, empathy, compassion. He is the protector in distress. He is joyful, mischievous child, ideal friend, legendary Guru, great leader, best preacher of our eternal religion and the best commentator on the Vedanta. He is POORNA PURUSHOTTAM.

<3 Krishna Janamsasthami is celebrated with observation of fast with fruits and milk, recitation of bhajans at Krishna temples. At midnight, devotees break fast with Sri Krishna Abhishek, offering flowers and sweets as Bhog, enacting Divine play i.e. Rasalila, playful events in life of Sri Krishna.

<3 Some Mantras

One can feel presence of Lord Krishna in life by just remembering and calling him with love. He answers and guides his followers in amazing ways.

Followers of Lord Krishna also believe in reciting mantra praising him, seeking his love and blessings. Recitation of just his name or mantras brings in spiritual solace and peace of mind.

:3 HARE KRISHNA MAHA MANTRA

हरे कृष्ण हरे कृष्ण कृष्ण कृष्ण हरे हरे
हरे राम हरे राम राम राम हरे हरे

Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare.Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare

Meaning : Ode to Sri Krishna and Lord Rama who are both two bodies but one being, as they are the incarnation of Sri Hari Vishnu.

It is a 16-word Vaishnava mantra, that first appeared in Kali-Santarana Upanishad.
Benefit : This divine mantra is chanted by believers to take them on a higher spiritual plane and take them into another divine world, directly connecting their soul with Sri Krishna.
It gives peace of mind, bringing in ones ability to see self with pure mind and to rejoice in self.

<3 Tip for VK users

VK users can chant KRISHNA MANTRA while wearing VK, and request VK to enhance its effects.

VK users can mimick energy of mantras for themselves or dear ones just requesting with the title
of mantra in drinking water or by direct request.
