GOLDEN SUNRISE VK Family
I have taken a Mantra from a Great religious Guru 3 years ago.
But I'm not chanting it at all.
I'm just taking help of VK for all healings, Protection & other manifestations.
Some say that "Not chanting Guru mantra" is like betraying or cheating the Guru. And the punishment will be given for many lifetimes. Is it true?
If I take a mantra from Guru and not chant it, will it create any problem in my spiritual life?? Will I be able to progress in Sadhana if I start any new Sadhana?
I learnt somewhere that Mantra devatha of Guru Mantra will not forgive the person who doesn't do the Mantra Sadhana. Is it true?
How to come out of this problem?
How to take VK's help in this issue?
Sharat sir, pls guide me and help me.

Acc to me , this is a free will to chant Guru mantra and it does not attract any punishment
Respectfully it can be chosen to practise or not.
Guru leads us to enlightened path. With Guru, the fear dissolves.
There is no room for fear and punishment in the Ocean of knowledge and wisdom from Guru.
Also a Guru never restricts his or her discipline to follow any other path of wisdom.
And if a Guru does so with restrictions, it's the Guru's ego.
@Sanjay Roy-Certified VK Teacher will explain and share his views in depth as he is the Master in this subject
Thank you for the kind information mam.
I was very much worried about this.

Though it seems you are satisfied by Rakhi Mam's comment, I would repeat the same, since she has asked me to add-on my views.
To me, it is perfectly alright in case someone hasn't opted to go on a path and diverged. There is no harm or penalty that is going to come upon you for Not doing something.
You must have seen people who were following Shri Sai Baba and now seen at Jai Guruji's Satsang. We in India have so flickering mindset that we change our path in following Gods according to our desires, leave aside Guru jis. It is not likely if we start praying to Krishna, Mahadev will punish us. Please wipe your mind of this confusion.
Like Bhakta & Bhagwan, relation of Guru-Shishya is also a bond of "Bhavna" and that is the crux. Remember Eklavya who always considered himself a Shishya of Drona, even without acceptance.
So please get out of this kind of apprehensions, progress on the path that enlightens you.
Now, I'm out of this fear.
Now a days, my mind really flickers a lot. Sometimes, I pray to Krishna, a few days later I pray to hanuman then after a few days I pray to Durga Maa and Sometimes Kaali maa.
And after a few days, I just pray to GOLDEN SUNRISE & sometimes just VK.
Not able to dedicate myself to one God.
What should I do?
From some Akashic reader, I found that Lord Hanuman is my Guardian Angel.
Lord Sriram is my Kuldevatha.
Whom should I pray to?
Pls guide.
@Gayathri
Golden SunRise.
My suggestion was not a binding on you. Pray to all.
OK, please consider, if you pay your respect to your Parents, do you ignore your Uncles & Aunts or Grandfather? ....NO , likewise you may pay your obeisances to all divine entities. But what I am stressing on is ...... please concentrate your focus to the ONE with whom your "Atman" (Soul) likes to surrender, with whom you feel to share everything .... whom you feel to merge in ...... irrespective of what your Aakashic reader has told or whosoever is your Kuldevatha. I am sure you are getting the idea.
Shri Krsna orated in Shrimad Bhagvad Gita :-
**sarva-dharmān parityajya mām ekaṁ śharaṇaṁ vraja
ahaṁ tvāṁ sarva-pāpebhyo mokṣhayiṣhyāmi mā śhuchaḥ.***
It does not mean that Govinda is asking everyone to take refuge in Him. He says surrender unto ONE (whoever) and you will find the way to Liberation. It is Krsna in this context, while explaining to Arjuna, but the real interpretation is to leave everything else and follow the "ONE".
So let us infer "pray to whom You love to pray, who reciprocates to you, this is the best bond". However, paying obeisances to all deities is perfectly fine.
Have a Happy praying.
I'll try to follow your guidance
