Got My baggage with Blessings of VK
I want to share my experience today. I went with my sister and brother-in-law to attend a wedding in Austin Texas. While returning from there to Philadelphia, I checked in one baggage and I had a carry On bag. Here the passengers are allowed to board according to groups. As this is a small aircraft, the overhear cabin area gets full very soon. So, my brother-in-law who boarded earlier took my baggage and put it in above a seat, (available space). I later boarded, and he said, get your baggage from that cabin above that seat number when you alight from the aircraft. I said OK. When the flight landed and we had to get down, I saw that my baggage was missing, instead a similar coloured (better baggage) was there in the overhead cabin. I immediately alerted the crew that someone has taken my baggage. I was asked to go and talk to an agent to make an announcement etc. All this I did, (including informing my sister about the development, as they had already got out of the aircraft). After doing all these interactions and while waiting at the gate, if anyone will come and return the baggage. I calmed down and remembered to chant REACH, FIND DIVINE ORDER. Then I Place a request to VK to find my baggage and get me, sent SO7R. I was asked to go to baggage claim and they said, you may get it, as they found a bag and it is being put in carousel D. I went there, no success. then I returned to Baggage claim, they said as it is not a checked in baggage, we cannot register a complaint, you can talk to a Toll-free number (for lost and found). I called the number, I was put on a recorded message to wait as all their staff is busy. So, I left my phone number and disconnected. Though I had faith, still with depressed mood, (after almost more than 0ne hour waiting at the airport), I thought we need to return. While we were deciding to return, there was a trolley with some pieces of baggages being taken to the Baggage Claim Room. My brother-in-law spotted that there is a bag in that lot, just check if it is yours. I ran to the trolley and ....I FOUND IT. The man said we will follow the procedure to confirm and give you. So accompanied him (and my baggage). After a needful, I got my baggage. I immediately thanked VK, and All the angels. Great relief.
