Wonderful explanation shared by @DivineSoul Thank you. You have given a very detailed and wise information.

Puneet is my lovely young brother, who pushed me on top of the Grapevine by prefixing "great" before my name. All glories goes to Sharat Sir, who deserves the appreciation. I am only his student. Besides, Puneet has put in another angle to the discussion. Great effort Puneet bhai.

Although, much is already explained, I would like to summarize it in short. Please understand, Material & Spiritual worlds are totally different. Sometimes called as Maya, Material world is vulnerable to both positive & negative, Spiritual world, on the other hand is Crystal clear and pious. Junk food or porno, both are material, and what is material cannot touch spiritual modes directly. But material things may always pursue a spiritual degradation. Let me opine. Material inputs affect spiritual avenues on the Mental levels. Our mind is the junction which translates and transforms our "Bhava" or emotions/thoughts. This level is available to be approached by both – Material and Spiritual. Now, on one side, we have Material things – Junk food & Porno which is governed by the senses ie. Taste & Lust and on the other side is the Spiritual levels which is governed by Serenity and Purity. One is Excitement & Agitation, while the other is Calmness & Peace. Being a disparity of the opposite kind, both cannot exist in the same state of mind. I mean, one has to give space to the other. So once overpowered by lust, mind may channel the spiritual levels downwards. This is the science in this issue.

Now, what should really be analysed is the reason, @apoorvm has asked this question. But Let me first be clear that we really do not have any grudge on anyone's personal preference/behavior, and this should be taken in No offence. Be it for ourselves or for someone else, what drives us to ask for preservation of sanctity, is our attraction towards a specific arena and our doubt that whether our indulgence in it, is proper or improper. I will call it doubt and not guilt because if justified by our consciousness, nothing in this world is wrong. Only a pinch of doubt makes it a Sin. This, however, does not makes a bad karma good. Ratnakar was a Robber but he robbed and killed, considering this activity as livelihood for him and his family. That is why, when the time came for his transformation, he was given the opportunity to become one of the greatest Sage of Vedic times – Valmiki.

If the ideology of ISCKON has to be believed, we may see that devotees who go for Sankirtan (musical gratification of the Lord), will not accept cooked food from the house they have gone for the program. Rather they may happily accept Milk or Fruits from them. It is because, they believe that cooked food bear the thoughts and emotion of the person who cooked the food. So they take food cooked by a devotee only. What does this thought convey? If the Vaishnava ideology is to be believed, then it indicates that Food do pass energy in variance affecting our mind. Dear @apoorvm, in my opinion, now-a-days one cannot be so categorical in eating habits. Please carry on, Junk food does not affect your Spirituality at all. But please try to have junk food in limits. Please invite me sometimes.

Referring to the Lust part, living in this world, one cannot be detached from senses. In Vedic times, even great sage Vishwamitra fell victim to it. But take it from me, if you have a Spiritual inclination, your senses will obey you. They will not overpower you. You have to board the bus and you can board one. Control the naughty sense and elevate, its more interesting above and beyond.

Dear @Dev ji, As Rakhi ji, said, Spiritual Experience is totally exclusive and personal. Everyone has his own experience and feel of it. It is because Spirituality is the ascent of one’s soul and how it enlightens, is a very personal experience. As I was giving examples, I love Chinese…..its my taste, but it is not necessary that You love it too. In the same way, what is my feeling with my soul cannot be your’s.

There is no "in the Meantime"as you expect. Its today and now. If you want a spiritual experience, ask for it from your soul. You don’t have to go elsewhere. Just go inside and See yourself. This meeting is your spiritual experience. I am sure you understand Hindi Mr. Chugani. Let me recite how I feel :

"Koi Na Ek Pal Yaad Raha,

Koi Na Uske Baad Raha,

Mai Sirf tha, Khud Ke Saath Mei,

You may start it by Anulom-Vilom energies, but what I request is your Patience. Yogis practice for years to get into this bliss. How do you expect it with a snap of fingers? Dear @Dave ji, you are very right in your perception but please do not incline to your conception. As per the manual, effects are surely same, you can only identify it when you know it rightly. Please understand, suppose you know Chocolate is very sweet and you tend to try a dark chocolate. Your perception says it is sweet and following that you conceive that is should be sweet as honey. Now, Dark Chocolates are less sweet and with a tinch of bitterness. So when you eat the Chocolate, you get disappointed because your mind has already conceived it as sweet as honey.

Using VK, please leave your conceptions, because now you are dwelling in the world of energies which is generally unknown to commoners. Reason being the same, I asked you the question in my above post. I presume that you know about Chakras and spiritual experiences, but please wait till you have one. Anulom-Vilom is a Paranayam of Yoga. It is the process which supplies Prana to your body system. But we are not so elevated as yet to know if we are getting a such and such amount of oxygen or our Chakras are being activated. Moreover, exercises are a daily routine, so why should be expect a miracle to happen by just doing it once? Leaving aside, our conceptions, when we practice the process through VK, again and again, we start feeling the effects and they are magical. Question yourself that Did your physiotherapist healed your cervical in one day? Why do we require to have medicines for 5 days in case of Viral fever? and do we get the effect of a Yoga exercise, if we are a novice in Yoga?

I am sure you will find satisfactory results when you will stop looking for results even before you are conversant to the process.

Golden Sunrise @ Dave, I would like to intervene in your very interesting discussions.

I appreciate if you have achieved such levels in meditation, but it is not a general sensation to feel the Chakras opening or getting activated. Rakhi’s quest is please explain what makes you know that your chakras (and which chakra) is opening. Also, how do you discriminate an increased supply of oxygen. We would be very pleased to learn your knowledge.

Dear @DivineSoul, @Madhoo, Just to inform you, Rakhi ji is one of those VK user, who has achieved maximum results in shortest time span. Moreover, her achievements are not common success, they are remarkable and miraculous, where the healed persons had lost all hopes. We feel so proud that she is with us. She has many such experiences to share.

Likewise, we all may try in any walk of life to benefit others, maybe unknown people and share experience, however little it may be, but if it soothes somebody, it is big for us. Here is one from my side.

This incident took place some years ago. I was accompanying my wife to a Mall for shopping grocery. I was doing the ideal Male’s duty – pushing the grocery cart. After sometime I stood with the cart(trolley) at the lobby of the Mall, while my wife was window shopping for some garments. Watching people from the corner of the lobby, I noticed a small girl of around 4 years, who seemed to be differently able – maybe autistic, being minded by a maid. Her mother was so amused in her shopping that she did not pay any heed to her child who seemingly was irritated of the crowd there and started crying bitterly. Her maid tried her best, but could not calm her down. Agitated by the child shouting, the maid lifted her very rudely, evidently looking embarrassed, as people started looking at her.

As she started walking towards the main gate, she was unaware, I, very casually followed her. Pushing the trolley with one hand, I placed my left hand on my VK and started sending Calm Down Serum, with intention to soothe the suffering little girl. I followed her till the Main gate and returned to my post, where I found my wife searching for me. We, then picked all the packages leaving the trolley there, and started walking to the exit. The time consumed in the process was just two and a half minutes, when I saw the same maid re-entering the gate, lifting the child. She was fast asleep. I smiled within myself to see the child, who fell deeply asleep in 2 and a half minutes. May God bless her, I prayed and passed by.

The moral is that VK is all powerful and know what to do and when. So why not spread love and peace everywhere.

Nice Idea @Anit, depending on our imagination and creativity, we may have hundreds of cute ideas. One of my Doctor friend, charges blank Homeo pills with various energies & serums. 1. What makes DNAs react to form a foetus?
2. Why don’t a Human gives birth to a monkey?
3. Why won’t a seed of Rose plant will not grow as a Cactus?

Its the manifestation of the Nature which is formed of Cosmic Energy and has its own intellect. Not only Nature, but planets, galaxies, stars…..I mean the whole universe that we know is formed by Cosmic Energy. We have to understand that whatever we see, don’t see, feel, don’t feel, existing and even not existing is manifestation of Cosmic energy.

There are 16 rays of Cosmic energies out of 11 respond to our will, while 5 are beyond. All of us take birth, live and die into the cosmic energy but our abilities are limited, so inspite of being within Cosmic energy, we are not able to interact with it. VK is the medium to do so. It does not connect but is just simplifies or translates this divine energy to us. VK has its own intellect which means that it know what to do, where to do when to do and how much to do. That is why, it is always suggested that please do not command VK, but just request to it. It is also said that, the more you be-friend VK, it manifests more and more to you. It means that more you are in league with VK, you are in frequency with the cosmic energy and the divine power is with you.

Yes, VK is the will of the Divine. It has come to our life to enlight and enchant it. Alongwith it connect us with the bigger mission ie. to serve the mankind.

In this context, it would not be out of reference to state (to all) that some people in trance of their Egoistic mind-frame, sometimes conceal the grace/achievements of VK and glorify themselves having divine powers. It does not diminishes the grandeur of VK because it is like a Sun which could not be held behind the clouds for long.

Dear @ apoorvm, My apologies for delay in replying. Being on the move, I could not attend your quarry.

Seems your mother has a peculiar blessings from the ancestors. But your wish is like you have blooming lawn and standing by the window, you want only the fragrance of the flowers to enter your room. But all the same, you don’t want the smoke from beyond the fence to enter inside. Tell me is it possible?

Energy is Energy…..formless and free. It is same for Positive as well as Negative. Since your mother is sensitive and acceptable to free flowing energies, she might be serving as medium of interaction by your ancestors; but like I said, the window is open and free flowing energies – whether the pure ones or the unwanted ones, both may come in.

Now, to protect, Nana ji, who again is a free energy has to come back to protect. In my opinion, in-spite freed from the world, this energy keeps on coming back, because it still takes the responsibility to guard his daughter. Please re-think, should we hold a positive energy toward Moha and put it to task again and again? Instead, your mother should rise in spiritual levels to be able to communicate to energies rather than being a medium to it.

Start healing as I have suggested above. May be it closes the window for all. But her spiritual upliftment may enable her to interact at her own will. That will close the doors for unwanted energies for ever.

Its human who has made even the God to descend on the Earth. The problem is that we – Humans are attracted more towards Maya (Materialism) and scared to Meet Ourself.
