Just a thought came in my mind reading your lines….looks like you believe in house warming ritual, but are not doing for whatever reasons.
You can hold VK in your hand and just request in the new home when you go there….
Suppose you were thinking of Satyanarayan Pooja
And say VK please offer the my/my family prayers and rituals of Satyanarayan Pooja to Lord Vishnu for my new beginning in this home. Please bless me and my family.
best is to hold VK for 30 min or you can keep it aside.
After 30 min, give gratitude to Lord Vishnu and VK for blessings received.
You can do this if you wish for any other deity too.
