Reading your post, I personally interpret is
To be happy and in Gratitude to Divine ….that you have spending capacity. Money is for spending.
And another view is that you are spending for yourself or your home or your family, ultimately its your home and your family too. Spending for family is taking responsibility and sharing happiness.
There are many who want to spend for their family but do not have the capacity :'(
