:3 8th day of Navratri also known as DURGA ASHTAMI is celebrated with KANYA PUJA, feeding 9 girls with food , sweets and giving them gifts.

On 8th Day, Maa Durga appears in form of MAA MAHAGAURI , has a fair radiant complexion as that of moon , with 3 eyes , four arms , carries a trident and a damaru , rides on a buffalo.

Maa Mahagauri is worshiped to attain loyalty in relationships and create life-long bonds.  She enlightens the spiritual seeker and removes the fear of rebirth by granting salvation.

:3 Maa Mahagauri, a symbol of purity and wisdom, frees her devotees from clutches of material world , removes sorrows of life , calms the mind and blesses with improved knowledge.
